Mt. Zion
On behalf of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, we recently delivered a variety of donated items for the Cumberland Christmas Mother project, including coloring books, crayons, socks, hairbrushes, and toys. Additionally, our sewing ministry crafted 50 small quilts for this effort. We pray these gifts bring joy and make this Christmas special for the children and senior citizens in our community.
Mt. Zion WMU and GA, “Sisters in Christ”, had a pizza dinner in September at church. GA leader, Dorothy Davis, had games for us to play to help us learn more about the Alma Hunt State Missions. Where the money collected goes, so more people will know about Jesus. This was enjoyed by all who attended.
GA girls and leader also participated in the Walk for Life event. Mt Zion Church and WMU also participated with donation to the Pregnancy Support Center.
Mulberry Grove
Mulberry Grove hosted a stew and movie night. We had a great evening of fellowship as we enjoyed the stew and the outdoor movie. For Halloween, the church handed out candy on Main St. in Dillwyn.
