“Taco Bout a Good Time”
On Saturday, March 21, 50 youth and 19 volunteers representing at least five JRBA churches came together for our Tacos & Tie Dye Event. It was a fun and meaningful time filled with worship, food, creativity, fellowship, and encouragement as students from across our community gathered to connect with one another.
The event provided a great opportunity for youth to build relationships, enjoy tacos together, and create their own tie-dye shirts while sharing laughter and conversation. More than just a fun outing, the day was a reminder of the strength of joining together across churches to encourage one another and invest in the next generation. Just like the tie dye shirts are a new thing, the students were reminded that we are unique and wonderful creation of God, made new through the power of Jesus. Such a blessing to see the sanctuary fully of youth and children prasing the name of Jesus together.
We are grateful for every church, volunteer, and student who helped make the day so special. Events like this are a wonderful picture of the partnership we share as an association, and we look forward to more opportunities to gather in the future.
