Antioch
We are gearing up for our Community Service Day for next Saturday, August 29th. We are coming together to assist local neighbors in need with home projects and repairs.
We are also gearing up for our Community Worship Service for next Sunday, August 30th at 11:00am at Fluvanna County High School Auditorium where we will come together with other local churches for a Sunday church service.
We will be having our Tent Revival Services down at the Hardware River (Antioch Rd.) on Saturday, September 26th at 7:00pm and on Sunday, September 27th at 10:00 followed by lunch and river baptism.
Our Fall Festival will be November 7th from 11:00am-2:00pm this is a free event for the community where we will have brunswick stew, games, inflatables, petting zoo, barrel train, vendors and much more!
We have started our Operation Christmas Child collection and each Sunday we have different items highlighted for people to donate.
Jones Chapel
During a Wednesday evening meeting, Jones Chapel welcomed a missionary from India, who spoke of the efforts to reach the lost in that country. Great success is being witnessed as many people are accepting Jesus as Savior. Prior to the meeting, Pastor Dane prepared authentic India food for everyone to enjoy.
Jones Chapel contributes and participates in the Walk for Life which will be held on Saturday, September 19th at High Bridge Trail in Farmville.
Jones Chapel’s Homecoming will be held on Sunday, October 4th, with worship service at 10:00 am, and Song Service at 11:00 am. This year, the Down East Boys from North Carolina will bring special music, and afterwards everyone is invited to join for lunch in the fellowship hall.

Mt. Zion
Earlier this year, our WMU ladies began a special ministry by adopting each of our GA girls as their Sisters in Christ. Throughout the year, these wonderful women have been encouraging their girls with thoughtful cards, small gifts, and prayers each month, reminding them that they are loved, valued, and supported by their church family. It has been a beautiful way to build friendships across generations and demonstrate God’s love in meaningful, personal ways.
In June, our Sisters in Christ gathered for lunch at Rodeo’s, where they enjoyed a wonderful time of food, laughter, and fellowship. Sharing a meal together gave everyone the opportunity to get to know one another better and continue building relationships that we pray will grow for years to come. We are thankful for the love our WMU ladies are pouring into the next generation and look forward to seeing how God continues to bless this ministry.

Sharon's homecoming celebration and revival services were well attended and enjoyed by all. It was a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, inspiration, renewal, and revival!
